Victoria is a qualified solicitor and a senior legal adviser with over a decade of experience helping high-growth businesses drive commercial success. She has held C-suite level roles at SMEs, leading Legal and HR functions across the UK and US, to deliver strategic legal input across funding rounds, commercial deals and key growth milestones.

With a deep understanding of the pace and pressure of scaling a business, Victoria provides fractional General Counsel support that is practical, affordable and flexible. 

She helps clients close deals with confidence, navigate investor negotiations, manage legal risk and build the operational foundations needed to support sustained growth.

Victoria is also an angel investor and that perspective means she engages with clients not just as their lawyer, but as someone who understands the founder journey and the investor mindset. This first-hand insight into what drives growth, funding decisions, and long-term value allows Victoria to help clients structure their businesses with a commercial edge.

Victoria founded Gray Legal to give ambitious SMEs access to embedded, high-quality, commercially minded legal support without the overhead of an in-house team, and to offer a smarter, more agile and affordable, alternative to traditional legal models.

Kate is a skilled and dynamic professional with extensive experience supporting early-stage start-ups and spin-out companies. At Gray Legal, she offers support as a Business Operations Consultant, contributing operational and commercial expertise to fast-growing businesses.

Kate supports clients with a range of day-to-day business needs, including reviewing and managing supplier agreements, commercial contracts and NDAs, as well as providing practical assistance with employment and HR matters, data protection compliance and fundraising support. Kate also brings considerable company secretarial experience, supporting Boards with governance processes, filings and the smooth running of corporate administration.

She is particularly experienced in building operational frameworks and streamlining internal processes, helping companies stay agile as they grow.
